How to get involved with Amateur Radio Public Service

The best and easiest way to get involved in Amateur Radio public service is to attend one of our monthly meetings held at either the Lansing EOC in Lansing or the Ingham County Sheriffs Department in Mason. The meetings are open to any licensed Amateur Radio operators and are on the third Monday of the month at 7pm.

It is requested that you fill out the Felony Background Check form and bring it with you to the meeting. Any further requirements you can fulfill before attending your first meeting would be helpful.

If you are interested in getting involved and cannot make regular meetings, feel free to contact Tom Shaver (KC8NJK) by e-mail or by phone at (517) 648-1550.

If you wish to participate just in public service events such as walk-a-thons, contact either Don Tillitson at (517) 321-2004 or Jeremiah Sevrey at (517) 862-5554.
