The 2010 Ingham County Skywarn training is on Saturday March 20, 2010 at 10am.

Basic CERT courses are being offered in Lansing.

January 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 20 from 6:00-9:00pm and January 23, 9:00am-noon.

The Lansing ARPSC group will be meeting this coming Monday at the Ingham County Sheriffs Department in Mason, MI. Sgt. Bob Ott of the Ingham County Police Department will be present. The training segment at the end will be on Drupal and updating the Lansing ARPSC website and provided by Ben Holcomb

The meeting starts at 1900.

The new look for the Lansing ARPSC site is here! This site is run with Drupal, which is a content management system. It will allow me to edit the site remotely and allow multiple users to manage the site.

For all members of Lansing ARPSC, please sign up for an account using the "Create new Account" link on the left under the login box. All accounts must be manually setup, which I will do as they come in.

The 2009 Ingham County/Lansing Area Skywarn training was held on Saturday March 7 at the Lansing Community College West Campus in Delta Township. Over 150 were in attendance for the Skywarn program put on by the National Weather Services' new Warning Coordination Meteorlogist (WCM) Jamie Bielinski.

A great lunch was provided to all attendees free of charge thanks to LCC. After lunch, this years guest speaker was Meteorologist Rob Dale formerly of WLNS TV 6 in Lansing giving a talk on Mid-Michigan Tornadoes and severe weather in large outdoor venues.

The Ingham County Skywarn training will be March 7th, 2009 at 10am at the Lansing Community College West Campus. Pre-registration is now available on the Skywarn Training Page.
